Monte La Reina Vendimia Seleccionada is born from a careful selection of Tinta de Toro grapes from century-old vineyards planted on their own roots in sandy soils, a unique viticultural heritage that gives the wine identity, concentration and complexity. The grapes are hand harvested at the optimum stage of ripeness, preserving their full aromatic and structural potential.

After fermentation, the wine undergoes the malolactic fermentation in oak barrels and subsequently ages for 14 months in new French oak barrels, a process that adds elegance, depth and a harmonious integration of fruit and oak.

Visually, it displays intense cherry red colour, clean and bright, with cherry-red hues that reflect its concentration.
On the nose, it is a wine complex and intense, wiht prominent spicy notes of clove and black pepper, alongside roasted aromas, cocoa and liquorice. Also noticeable are balsamic nuances and a subtly floral undertone that blends with ripe, stewed black fruit, bringing richness and elegance to the overall profile.

On the palate, it is dry, balanced and structured, with mature, sweet tannins that provide volume and smoothness. The union of the natural power of Tinta de Toro and French oak leaves notes of fine woods such as cedar and sandalwood with a long, persistent and elegant finish, marked by notes of fruit liqueur.
