Description

Inaraja is an exclusive red wine from the D.O. Toro, made with grapes 100 % Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo) from century-old, pre-phylloxera vines planted on their own roots in sandy soils. These historic, low-yielding vines provide concentration, identity and a unique expression of the terroir.

After careful vinification, Inaraja undergoes the malolactic fermentation in oak barrels and an ageing period of 16 months in new French oak barrels and large-capacity 1,700-litre foudres, achieving a perfect balance between power and elegance, fruit and oak, tradition and innovation.

Visually, it displays a intense burgundy red colour, clean and bright, with attractive ruby highlights that hint at its depth.
On the nose, it reveals a complex and elegant, with aromas of ripe, stewed fruit, perfectly integrated with toasted and roasted notes from the French oak. Nuances of spicy, mineral and subtly iodine-like notes, which add character and sophistication.

On the palate powerful, flavoursome and silky, with soft, well-integrated tannins. The balsamic, smoky and toasted notes combine with mineral nuances, creating an elegant, structured and enveloping palate. The finish is long, persistent and harmonious, leaving a deep and memorable impression.
